Things I’m loving right now - July ‘21 edition
Here are some things that made July run a little more smoothly! This month I recommitted to taking a little more time for myself, more on that below!
Lovevery Play Kit Subscription Box
We've been getting Lovevery Subscription Boxes every other month since Dash was 3 months old and I can't recommend them enough. The toys are thoughtfully selected with development in mind and are made with organic, sustainable, and natural materials.
Kindness Makes Us Strong By
This book is so cute and Dashie loves it! Here's a brief description: "Kindness is a friendly hello. A roaring cheer. A quick boost. Kindness is what makes us strong! This joyful board book shows various children as they extend kindness in all kinds of situations: on the playground, at lunchtime, on a bike path, and on a neighborhood street. This sweet preschool read-aloud shows the way kindness helps build friendship and community."
Little Planet Organic Cotton Playsuit
I love the Little Planet line from Carters. It's a cute and affordable option for organic baby clothes. We have a onesie, pajamas, and this playsuit in this print, it's one of our favs!
Nuna Pipa RX
I love Nuna products because they have both high safety ratings and are easy to use. There are 5 different types of Nuna Pipa's so it took a little research to find the right one for us. We chose this one because it uses the RELX base which has multiple indicators that tell you everything is in the right place and a support leg for even more security (though this car seat can also be installed without a base for easier travel/rideshare options). The car seat also comes with a pull-down "Dream Drape", a removable, full coverage UPF 50+ canopy, 4 incline positions, and easily connects with all Nuna strollers.
Core Club Pilates
Before I got pregnant and the pandemic hit I wanted to start taking pilates again and my trainer highly recommended Pilates By Amanda. With all the craziness going on I was so happy when I discovered she came out with an online workout option. There are a ton of options from fundamentals to full-length workouts, and she even has pre and postnatal options! This month I decided to recommit to taking time for myself, honestly, it's amazing how quickly that goes away if you don't make a concerted effort. It's great for my mental health and nice to feel stronger in my body.
Bala Weights
These are the first ankle/wrist weights that I have actually liked. They are sleek, stay in place, and actually kind of cute.
